Fabrique is a multidisciplinary agency since 1992 and one of the largest agencies in the field of branding, communications and interaction design in The Netherlands. We develop visions for the future, brands and identities en we make matching interactive, graphic, spatial and product designs.
In our offices in Delft, Amsterdam and Rotterdam, 100 enthusiastic artists, engineers and storytellers work with pleasure and passion on various assignments for consumer brands, service companies, government, education, the entertainment industry and cultural institutions.
We believe in brand-based thinking and brand driven innovation. The way in which a brand communicates forms the basis of our approach: how it feels, how it works, how it sounds, how it clicks. After all, a website for Albert Heijn feels different to a site for the Rijksmuseum. An identity for XS4ALL looks different to a style for Essent. And it’s not by accident that Fabrique designed an advanced automatic passport control for Schiphol airport: innovation is one of their core values.
The assignments we do become more complex by the day. Also the role of the designer and the way we collaborate with our commissioners is developing constantly.
In order to keep on designing meaningful and effective experiences for the clients of our commissioners we believe that a knowledge driven approach is a key to success. The CRISP platform offers a great opportunity to be closely involved in developing knowledge in the field of product-service systems or - as I sometimes prefer to say – multi-touchpoint experiences.
Being a partner in the CRISP program not only provides us with fascinating and inspiring theories, insights, principles, frameworks, models and opinions, but above all: the collaboration with scientists makes us think about our profession in a way we didn’t do before.
